I built Stone & Steam because I couldn't keep doing "good enough."
After tiling more than 500 projects, I kept seeing the same problem: key design decisions were often made too late. By the time finishes began, layout, wall set-outs, and niche positioning had already limited what was possible.
That insight became Stone & Steam.
We combine early design intent with precision craftsmanship to create timeless bathrooms that feel calm, function beautifully, and stand apart from catalogue-standard work.
Every project is built to raise the standard — not with trend-chasing or generic catalogue outcomes, but with timeless design, precise execution, and detail that lasts.
Project Zero — my own travertine steam shower and marble bathroom — was where the model was proven. I designed and delivered it end-to-end: wall finish points, full-tile niche alignment, custom vanity integration, and the overall feel of the space.
When design leads early, craftsmanship can perform at its highest level.
My benchmark is legacy craftsmanship — the kind of work people still admire years later.
If we do this right, the final reveal won't just look good. It will land emotionally — for the client and for the maker.
